Nestled on top of Beech Mountain, this beautiful 3
bedroom, 3 bath lodge has gorgeous mountain views of North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The lodge has 3 levels.
The upper level consists of a master suite with a romantic stove, queen size bed, loveseat, wing chair, cable TV/DVD, three
telephones, and now broadband access. The suite has an old fashioned bathroom that will take you back to a simpler time ----
sit back and relax in the clawfoot bathtub!
The main level has a flat screen TV, electric fireplace, and fully equipped kitchen
with microwave and icemaker. The main level bedroom has two twin beds, telephone, and TV/VCR. This level also has a full bathroom
with ceiling heater. Let's not forget the large deck, picnic table, propane grill, and breathtaking views.
The lower
level has a bunkroom with triple bunks, a full bathroom, laundry room, and play room with an air hockey table, television,
microwave, small refrigerator, stone propane fireplace, and another expansive rear deck.
An
addition is underway that will double the size of the lodge and provide a much larger eat-in kitchen, new living room , additional
playroom, and additional bedroom.
The house can be kept quite warm in winter with its propane
fireplace and gas hot air furnace. Also, a level accessibility to the road makes winter travel way easier than homes with
steep inclines. We take pride in keeping the lodge mildew and bug free! As mountain temperatures hardly ever reach 80 degrees,
the many windows and ceiling fans keep the house comfortably cool in summer.
